Blog #4 Compare the Internet users between Teens and Adults

It is always interesting to see how different groups of people act in different ways at a certain point. For example, teenagers use the internet differently from adults.

The Internet has been accompanied with me since I was a teenager and it has entertained and assisted me in multiple ways. Back to when I was 14 year-old, I used to play several computer game online and I was addicted to it. There were plenty of choices of online games that were divided into categories, and I loved playing the games about cooking the most! Besides playing online games on the internet, I did online chatting with my friends by using an app that was installed in computers. Overall, I really appreciate the benefits that the internet has brought to me, and my life wouldn't be complete without it!

However, adults seem don't do that much fun stuff on the internet in comparison to teenagers. My parents, for example, they have never known how to play online games on the internet or even chatting with other people. All they do is to browse online news, and write emails. Undoubtedly, the internet applies less functions to my parents than me since they don't really pay attention to entertain themselves.

The age of internet is growing way too fast that the majority of adults are not following its pace. Whereas young people are very passionate about inventing and enjoying all kinds of new functions that apply to the internet. However, I cannot deny the fact that the internet is just as important as my good friend where it helps me to find solutions when I am lost, and it makes me smile when I am desperate. Therefore, the internet has already become part of my life today.

Mark Zuckerberg is born on May 14, 1984, and he is an American computer programmer and internet entrepreneur. In his earlier years, he began using computers and writing software in middle school.

In 2007, Zuckerberg became a billionaire as a result of Facebook and the number of Facebook users worldwide reached a total of one billion in 2012 when he was 23 year-old.

In 2011, Zuckerberg ranked first on the list of the "Most Influential Jews in the world" by The Jerusalem Post and has since consistently topped the list every year as of 2013.

Blog #2: Two websites with great web design

http://www.apple.com

I personally believe that this website is greatly designed. First of all, the colors with all pages appeal a sense of simplicity and absoluteness, meaning that they make me feel joyful and relaxed. Moreover,  their arrangement of color arouses my interest to browse and discover more about their website. Secondly, they name a very clear category of the products in order. Under each tab, it has got an overview of all the devices. And speaking of color, where it corresponds with the device's theme and represents the main idea of which the product is about. Last but not least, on each of their page, there is a very creative and simple slogan under the name of the product, which gives us a general idea of what the main function of each product provides, and more importantly, the meaning behind its design.

http://www.zappos.com

This is a website for online shopping on clothing, shoes, bags and etc. The first thing I like about their website is that at the center of the home page, there is a slide show which displays the pictures of new products and it kind of gives us an idea of announcement. Secondly, I really appreciate their honesty of designing a special column of "what our customers are saying" to show the product reviews, and especially not all of their reviews are positive saying. This website is therefore gainning a credibility from worldwide customers. Last but not least, in terms of color, they are aiming to make us calm down with the shade of Yale blue (#0F4D92), which is a type of dark blue color. With the calmness of the dark blue color, the customers would love to stay on their website for longer time without having tiredness or stress.
